Damaged or defective? We'll make it right

If your copy of Chopsticks Optional arrives damaged or defective, spiral-bound or hardcover, reply to your order email or write to charles@cheffatty.com within 30 days of delivery. Include a photo. We'll send you a new copy or give you a full refund, whichever you prefer.

Lost in the mail

If your package is lost on the way to you, email us and we'll send a replacement.

If we can't ship your hardcover

If for any reason we can't ship a hardcover you ordered, we'll email you and give you a full refund for the hardcover.

Cancel before it ships

Changed your mind? Email us before your order ships and we'll cancel it and refund everything, including shipping. Once an order has shipped, it can't be canceled.

The ebook

Every printed copy you buy for yourself comes with the ebook by email, at no extra cost. A second copy for a friend ships with an ebook card, so they get the ebook too.

If you bought the ebook on its own, you can ask for a full refund any time before you download it. Once it has been downloaded, it can't be refunded.

Magnets, apron, gift wrap and holiday card

The same rule applies: if anything arrives damaged or defective, email us within 30 days of delivery with a photo and we'll replace it or refund it, your choice.

One Pan, 15 Minutes (digital cookbook, no longer sold)

If you're not happy with the One Pan, 15 Minutes digital cookbook, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. After 14 days, sales are final. This also covers copies bought through a $9 code link.

Membership

You can cancel your Membership at any time from your account. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't refund partial billing periods.

How refunds work

Refunds go back to the card or payment method you used. Your bank may take a few business days to show it.
